Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Half Leg Wax (Women).

Results typically last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. With regular waxing hair often grows back finer and sparser. Factors like hormones, medications, and genetics affect timing; we recommend scheduling every four to six weeks for consistent smoothness.

Most clients feel brief discomfort during strip removal, but our technique and premium wax minimize pain. The procedure is quick and tolerable; communicate with your technician for adjustments. For nervous clients we offer tips to reduce sensitivity and maximize comfort.

Arrive with clean, lotion-free legs and hair at least 1/4 inch long for best results. Avoid heavy sun exposure beforehand and exfoliate gently 48 hours prior. These steps help the wax grip hair and reduce the chance of ingrown hairs.

Avoid shaving between waxing sessions whenever possible; shaving removes hair at the surface and interferes with the waxing cycle. If necessary, limit shaving to minimal areas, but ideally allow hair to reach the recommended length for proper root removal.

Contraindications include sunburn, recent chemical peels, active skin infections, open wounds, or use of retinoids/Accutane. Pregnant clients or those on blood thinners should consult our team. We offer consultations to determine safe timing for your service.

Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer and avoid hot baths, saunas, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. If irritation persists, contact us for recommended calming treatments or products.
