Get answers to common questions about Back Wax .
Results typically last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. Slower regrowth often occurs after repeated waxing; scheduling maintenance every four to six weeks helps maintain a consistently smooth back.
You may feel brief stinging when hair is removed, but our estheticians use premium wax, calming techniques, and optional pre-wax soothing products to minimize discomfort. Proper positioning and experienced staff keep the service quick and tolerable.
Ensure hair is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long, arrive clean and dry, and avoid heavy lotions or recent tanning. Inform staff of medications or skin sensitivities. Wear loose clothing to the appointment for comfort afterwards.
Ideal hair length is roughly 1/4 to 1/2 inch so wax can properly grip the hair. Too short reduces effectiveness, while overly long hair may be trimmed slightly before waxing for comfort and uniform results.
Most skin types respond well, but active sunburn, open wounds, severe rashes, recent chemical peels, or certain medications (like retinoids) can make waxing unsafe. Tell us about medical conditions so we can assess suitability.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy sweating, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Apply a soothing aloe or recommended post-wax serum, wear loose clothing, and gently exfoliate after 3–5 days to prevent ingrown hairs.
